Client Testimonials

' Clare is amazing! She has been working with my AuDHD PDA son for about 2 years and I have never seen him connect so well with anyone else. Whether it is in-person, in-school or video calls he enjoys both the focus activities and open and honest free flowing conversation. They talk and talk about everything and nothing from the first minute to the last, but she always manages to steer the conversation to cover specific discussion points and generate positive outcomes. Her help and support with school meetings has been priceless, and it is difficult to put into words just how much of an overall impact Clare has had on my son. As a result, the lives of our whole family have become more peaceful, relationships have improved and everything seems more achievable. '

'I have been using Clare now for 2 years and she has been invaluable with our son, who has SEND needs.  He feels very comfortable with her and she is really helping him through some difficult issues.  She has always been available for ad hoc meetings as well if he needs them.  We couldn't do without her. '

'I am so grateful that to have found Clare, she has had such a positive impact on my daughter, who has ADHD. Clare has helped her to deal with situations that would normally just be too overwhelming. I would highly recommend Clare, she has honestly proved to be the best support for that I could have asked for. '

Emotional Therapy:

"We were having challenges with our third child while at primary school. As parents we struggled to understand the challenges and we didn't know how we could help her. Clare was recommended to us as someone who could help address these challenges with emotional therapy. This support was invaluable as she progressed through key stages of her life at primary school, and then in the transition to secondary school".

Maths Tutoring:

"Our daughter has struggled with learning difficulties in Math's and we have worked with a number of tutors in the past to help her. However, we realised that she needed someone who could help not only with the subject, but also with the emotional element of her struggles, and this is where Clare has been invaluable, Our daughter has built up a solid and trusting relationship with Clare, and she now has the emotional and technical support she needs to address this subject."

I invite children into a 'safe space' where they can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences, often through play, art, or talking, to gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Therapy can lead to positive changes in relationships, behaviour, and overall well-being, allowing children to thrive in various settings like home and school.

My play and art interventions offer numerous positive outcomes, particularly for children, by providing non-verbal and creative outlets for expressing emotions, processing trauma, and enhancing self-awareness. The approaches I use foster communication, self-esteem, and healthy relationships, while also promoting emotional literacy and resilience.
