What Is Online Therapy approaches?
Online emotional support refers to counselling services conducted over the internet. In contrast to in-person therapy, online intervention allows you to connect with myself from the comfort of your own home using any device that has an internet connection, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone.
Research shows that online approaches can be just as effective as in-person for various mental health conditions.
Online intervention offers access to mental health treatment to those of you in rural or remote areas. Such areas simply might not have access to any other form of mental health treatment because there are few or no mental health practices locally. If you have reliable internet access, my online approach gives you relatively quick and easy access to treatment that might not have been readily available to you otherwise.
An online approach is usually fairly affordable and convenient. Since you will be attending sessions online in the comfort of your own home, you can often schedule your sessions for times that are the most convenient for you.
The internet makes mental health treatment more approachable. People may feel comfortable talking to friends and family about physical health care issues, but may not feel the same discussing mental health concerns that are just as important. Online access makes it easier to overcome the stigma that has historically been attached to mental health issues.
You can learn more about health behaviours and coping strategies that will lead to better psychological health.

I invite children into a 'safe space' where they can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences, often through play, art, or talking, to gain a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Therapy can lead to positive changes in relationships, behaviour, and overall well-being, allowing children to thrive in various settings like home and school.

I work hard to help young people navigate the complexities of identity exploration, relationships, and future planning. Through open communication and a range of therapeutic techniques, the young adults I see can gain a better understanding of their emotions, develop resilience, and build confidence.

Adult therapy can be a positive and transformative experience, providing a 'safe space' to explore emotions, gain insights, and develop coping strategies. Working as a one to one team, I can help individuals improve mental health, build stronger relationships, and navigate life transitions with greater resilience. Through therapy, adults can learn to manage stress, process past trauma, and cultivate self-awareness, leading to increased life satisfaction and overall well-being.
My play and art interventions offer numerous positive outcomes, particularly for children, by providing non-verbal and creative outlets for expressing emotions, processing trauma, and enhancing self-awareness. The approaches I use foster communication, self-esteem, and healthy relationships, while also promoting emotional literacy and resilience.
